thats very good idea . i have just tested and it loads up fine in VM .
i have a suggestion for u,
is it easily possible for u to add in diskgenius win version along with ghost32 ?
benefit ?
here it is . when the cmdpe loads completely , a batch will run asking if the user wants to run ghost32 or run diskgenius . with diskgenius , user can copy and paste from the hard disks , he can access usb drives etc . and also he can use it to clone the OS in case he dont like ghost32 .
it is just an idea .
also , i could not understand the purpose of " FREQUENT " directory which has SRS drivers , because when i booted it complained " 1.zip not found , press any key to continue " .
what is the use of FREQUENT directory then ? also it seems we should have to manually copy 1.zip in the iso , right ?
It is for ghost32 only. I have not try diskgenius yet. I'm afraid it needs so more supporting files that the GhostPE becomes a normal PE in size.
Frequent directory used to store some drivers are frequently used (each of them very small), while others use less (or full) driver sets stored in 1.zip (size large).
If the program can not find the appropriate driver in the directory, will automatically use 1.zip.
However, this mechanism may not yet stable. In the VMware client, it will use symmpi.sy_ (in Frequent directory) in the first boot, but the second, if not cold boot, then always use 1.zip.
You can add some drivers from 1.zip to Frequent directory, or delete files in it by yourself to make it "Frequent" to you.
